Anne Charlaine

I am Anne Charlaine, a twenty-year old gal from Lemery, Batangas and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Management. I am the eldest in the family with five siblings, two girls and three boys. My father is a farmer and my mother is a plain housekeeper. I finished my studies in college through a government scholarship. I also took a part-time job in a certain fastfood company when I was in my second year in college.

Four years ago, I worked as a branch bookkeeper in a thrift bank in Sampaloc, Manila. After that I became an accounting assistant in a pest control company in Quezon City. Later, I realized that I wanted to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a writer and so I decided to resign from my job and focused all my attention to what I really wanted to do ever since.

I love to read books, magazines, newspapers, et cetera—actually almost everything that can be read. My favorites are mythology, fantasy, mystery, inspirational and historical writings especially if there’s  a moving love story within the pages. Something that makes the book more interesting, something unusual, something you don’t expect, something makes it unforgettable.

On the other hand, I avoid reading (or even watching) horror and suspense stories (hate killings), because they haunt me in my dreams.

I also love watching animes. Among my favorites are Fushigu Yuugi, Hunter x Hunter, Tears to Tiara, Cardcaptor Sakura, Detective Conan, Magic Knight, Special A and Maid Sama.

I believe in destiny, soul mates, reincarnation, dejavu, angels, miracles, aliens, other dimensions (world), fairies, signs, superpowers and the likes.

My favorite authors are Martha Cecilia, Sonia Francesca, Arielle, Aya Myers and Heart Yngrid and also foreign authors like Mitch Albom, JK Rowlings, Stephenie Meyer, Sidney Sheldon, Danielle Steel, Sara Craven and Nicholas Sparks. My favorite colors: violet and green; favorite food: adobo and ginataang hipon.

I want to live just a simple life—happy and contented with the family I want to build.
